In this case, Windows allow us to rename the multiple files batch. The only requirement to have is the name of all files must be same. So Windows adds the file or folder number to the name followed by the sequence of words given by you. Let me explain this using the below screenshots, please follow the three steps given below.

Step 1: The first step you have to is to move all folders or files that you want to be renamed into the same folder.

Step 2: Select all files or folders to be renamed and click the right button of the mouse and select Rename.

Step 3: Now enter the name that you wish to have for your files and press the Enter Key.

Your files will be renamed as the file name (1), file name(2) and so on.
